"The Protector" is inspired by my new found interest in the history of Viking Culture and how it really shaped the world in its time.  This Raven represents Protection and we can all use a little extra Protection these days! The symbols are of Viking origin and the name of the symbol is "Helm of Awe" which translates to Protector or Terror. The Vikings used this symbol on sheilds and entrances to homes/castles/and various ther areas to add a Protection to what they valued.  The materials used are acrylic paint on canvas. 18x24 inches Made in 2020
